Ladies and Gentlemen, this book will without any doubt change your life, by changing your mind about the concept of "money". So many of us were brought up with the idea of money as a finite resource, which you had to compete for. This book is desgined to release every preconcieved idea that is holding us all back from wealth.
The basic premise of this book is that becoming wealthy is a science, that once understood, and replicated will create wealth in everyone's life. Wealth is as infinite as the creative mind. Create ideas, take action and abundance will flow.

I have read over 200 books on success and wealth, before I read this book. Nothing I had read upto this point had such an incrediblely profound effect on my wealth, because it changed my misconceptions on what it took to become wealthy. Within ten months of applying these principles and concepts, I had expedentially increased my income to levels that would had been unthinkable 12 months earlier.

I would reccomend that every student of this book, also read, Think and Grow Rich by Napoleon Hill, Money is Easy by Larry Winget, The Einstien Factor Wenger & Poe, Psyco Cybernetics by Maxwell Maltz & Born Rich by Bob Proctor. All these books will enhance your understanding of this incredible book.

The ideas and concepts, once studied and applied will transform your mental approach to money. This is a book that will take you a day to read, but a life-time to understand fully. Give it serious study, and I guarantee you success.

I would doubt very much that you could assemble 86 of the world's experts on how to get rich and get the results that this 86 page book will unveil. It should be compulsory reading and study in all schools at an early age. If this were so I'm sure that the world would be a better place and the nation more prosperous. The implimentation of this science will create wealth without fail.

This is a down to earth, tell-it-like-it-is, guide to not only how to get rich, but why one must do so in order to fulfill their purpose. I've read many positive thought books that gave useful information, but never one that explained so well the reasons to be rich - aside from the obvious.

Mr. Wattles speaks with clarity and gives step by step instructions on being responsible for one's need to be rich, such that it fulfills the requirements necessary to live fully the life given us by the Creator.

For me, particularly, this book really helped put to rest some old, negative connotations associated with having money. I now see why I not only should get about being rich, but that it is my responsibility to accomplish it with great relish.

    Happy reading!

How our reality is manifested is normally never questioned. For those who want to know why and how, this book is the answer. In 1985 I read "The Science of Getting Rich" and my life was forever changed. Not only were my questions answered about why things are the way they are, but I now had the instruction manual! I learned that, "What I think is created" and how to use this to better my life. By following the simple instructions, anyone can create the life of his or her dreams. To share this book with someone is the most thoughtful and loving gift one can give. Be sure to give it to yourself first.

Amazing to think a book about making money written nearly a century ago can have direct application now, but it does.

It's one of those books you can't afford to be without: incredibly short, to the point, and simple.

You'll need to wade through some corny, old-fashioned language. But do it. The simple message is that everything - everything - in nature is designed to grow. (Yes, everything dies too, but this book is about living BEFORE you die). His premise is that anyone can grow to their potential if they follow some simple rules.

Note that his simple rules may not seem as practical as "save 10%" from every check, etc. But I have to tell you that since reading this book, my attitude has changed about money, and my work life has picked up in a wonderful way.

I am not a self-help book reader, nor am I a fan of pop psychology. A friend insisted I read this, and I'm glad I did. I decided to write the review because this corny, short book has had a profound impact on me. I'm assuming it has done the same for countless others - and that's why it has lasted so long.

This has to be, with no doubt, the greatest book ever written on creating personal prosperity (or anything else you want). It completely dispells the ridiculous myth that somehow money is evil or undesirable. Money is no more evil than electricity, gravity or magnetism. It is simply a tool. This great book shows you how to work on the CAUSE of wealth. Period! There is not a single wasted word to be found throughout. Each sentence is absolutely packed solid with depth and meaning. Once you start to read it, you will not be able to put it down, and that is not exagerating.

Wattles' book is a classic in the success and wealth creation genres. However, this book makes for difficult reading due to its early 1900s use of language, and its metaphysical/philosophical approach. that said, please do not be discouraged. Read the book anyway and try to grasp its important message inherent in the law of attraction. Wattle does not present a specific plan for wealth creation, but does provide suggestions on how to think and act in order to set the foundation for wealth accumulation.

If you are interested in more specific details on achieving wealth, I recommend you read "The richest Man in Babylon," by George Clason, and "The 17 Principles of Creating Wealth," by Phillip Collinsworth. For a modern discussion on the law of attraction, you should read "Shortcut to a Miracle," by Michael and Elizabeth Rann.

I think this is one of the most life changing books I have ever read. It's short, simple and not filled with a batch of fake examples.

However, I have found that I have to be careful who I recommend this book to as several of the people I have referred it to have not taken it with the seriousness that I think it deserves. It is filled with rhetoric that some may find over the top. Although after careful consideration, I have found that a whole heartedly believe in the principles Mr. Wattles puts forth.

My advice would be to read this book with an open mind. Try to implement the principles, and keep a journal of your experiences. You will be shocked at your result.

Highly recommend this book to anyone wanting to take themselves out of the slums and onto the road of financial independence.

The author gets right to the heart of the matter. Much more substantive than the movie that it inspired and that is currently all the rage. If you enjoyed the movie then this book is a must read. It's an excellent foundation to the movie. It was an opportunity to bask in centuries old wisdom without all of the "New Age" fluff, which can probably be attributed to the fact that the book was written nearly a century ago.

This is the book that inspired the folks behind "The Secret." It is a very concise and simple program that teaches the reader exactly how to create his or her reality in a positive, forward-moving way. It inspires the reader to become all that he or she can be in order to be a contribution to the world.

Don't let the original date of publication turn you off! Because of its simplicity, anything that seems dated just doesn't get in the way.

I bought it because I wanted the essence of "The Secret" in written form and easily accessible. This book, the inspiration for "The Secret" in the first place, did it!
