Jack Canfield has been openly candid about his personal experiences in becoming successful. His research and interviews with successful people are true, in that they are the experiences I have read about in other books and heard from modern philosophers.

Every chapter is well written. While there maybe minor contraversies in his expression, the underlying thought is apparent, and one should grasp the larger overall concept of his message.

Much of what he writes, opens our minds to the possibilities. What if...only I could train my mind to think that way. Wealth is abundant, its mine to reach out and claim it. Declare it and it will come to you. Put your thought into action, your action becomes your word, your word becomes your reality. And everything stems from a thought, which is created by powerful visualization.

Great reading, I have bought several copies to give as gifts to people who find themselves searching for depth and meaning in their lives, finding themselves in a strangle hold, trapped by their own thoughts, limited by their experiences.

Begin and providence will reign. Order the book, that's the first step!
  • Gary Stallone (MSL quote), USA   <2007-10-24 00:00>

After watching "The Secret", I realized that Jack Canfield was not only the Chicken Soup author, but also was quite knowledgable on how the Law of Attraction worked. I came across this book at my local library, and out of curiousity, I took a look inside. I don't think it took me more than 2 minutes of browsing, to realize that I had to have this book.

This book motivated me like no other book has before. Not because it's full of hype and pie-in-the-sky, but because it actually teaches you step by step, how to create everything you want in your life. It's much more than saying "Get a job you love!". Mr. Canfield actually instructs us on how to find our ideal career. I have been stuck for 10 years, not knowing what I wanted to do with my life, but after reading this book, I'm finally on the right path.

This is one of those revelations, where I feel indebted to Jack Canfield, for finally making me see the light. I have all the confidence in the world, that I will be one of many future multi-millionaires who got their start, their inspiration and know-how, from reading this book.

I can't say enough great things about this book. It has it all. If you dare to succeed and be happy and full of joy and peace, then please do yourself a favor and get this book. You might have read 50 self-help books in the past, but you haven't read anything like this-trust me. You will be just as blown away as I was, guaranteed.
  • Michael Murphy (MSL quote), USA   <2007-10-24 00:00>

By name, if you are living anywhere in the world, you should have heard of Jack Canfield and read at least one of his books. This is the book that takes you by the hand and shows you how to live your dreams. It is practical and profound. It is easy to follow, yet full of depth.

Jack Canfield is the greatest, 'how to get from here to there', teacher I've ever read. If you don't have this book in your library, then get it. Then, once you get it, don't read it. Devour it. Get it in your heart. It will transform your life when you apply the Success Principles Jack reveals.

Amazing book! Sure to be, if not already, classic!
  • David Carpenter (MSL quote), USA   <2007-10-24 00:00>

I am a big Jack Canfield fan as I find him to be (1) one of the most genuine self-improvement speakers/authors, and (2) a great story teller. So I wasn't surprised when I liked this book upon my first reading.

It wasn't until I went back to the book, a couple of times, that I began to understand the full power of the book. Whenever I open randomly to a page, I find wisdom that more often than not "speaks" to me about some business or personal issue that I am having. Not that the book magically solves my issue, but it does unlock creativity that routinely brings new perspectives on an issue.

This has become one of my top five self-improvment books of all time. It really is that powerful, at least for me. Critics will contend it is a rehash of tried (but true) words of wisdom. For me, Jack has effectively synethized success principles into a tool that just keeps on giving.
  • James Brown (MSL quote), USA   <2007-10-24 00:00>

I am a bit bias regarding anything Jack Canfield writes because he is so good. This time he has outdone himself. This is not a book to be read, it is a book to be hi-lited, dog eared, inscripted with notes and then more importantly, a book where the exercised contained there are should be done, not just read. It is clearly a book to help you to first identify where it is you want to go and then Canfield lays out a plan for you to follow to get you there. I thought the book was so good that I bought a copy for each of my four children and asked them to study it as I am. It may be the best book I have ever read.

Make sure to pick up this book because it can and WILL change your life, but only if you practice what it teaches you and put your insights, talents, abilities, dreams, everything in your head and your heart into ACTION. Everyone has the potential to success, but only a minority of people do success. What seperate the successful from the unsuccessful is ACTION. Dream BIG and start from small, step by step and never give up...This is a book you need not only to READ but to STUDY, highlight, read again and again, reflect, USE the methods it teaches you, and be AWARE of what you are doing and thinking at THIS MOMENT, and always ask yourself whether you are on the RIGHT track to something you want out of life?
  • Scott Whitelaw (MSL quote), USA   <2007-10-24 00:00>

I highly recommend this book. I wish every single person in America would pick up this book and learn the number one principle to success. This book has inspired me to challenge myself to learn my life purpose, dream big dreams, to make goals and plans, to find success and enjoy the journey of growing, sharing and living to the fullest. To discover this in one book is such a treasure!

The teaching tool E + R = O (Event + Response = Outcome) is nothing short of brilliant. This formula has taught me that every outcome I experience in life (success, failure, wealth, illness, and loss of job) was a result of how I responded to an earlier event or events in my life. Taking 100% and nothing less, has taught me that if I do not like the results that I am currently getting, I have basically two choices. I can blame the event (E) or my lack of results (O) or I can change my responses (R) to the events (E) until I get the outcome (O) I want. I now see that all my blaming, complaining and criticizing has done but cause myself pain and suffering.

Taking 100% Responsibility is about my ability to choose how I respond to events in my life. It sounds so simple, but it is extremely powerful. But only if one desires success.

Warning: This book can and will change your life!

Only knowing Jack Canfield from the very successful "Chicken Soup for the Soul" mega series, I had no idea his abilities as a motivational mentor and coach. Although this book title seemed to be directed toward business success, the gems of this book can be used in every aspect of your life. This lengthy book is full of words of wisdom and wit. Lines that will move you to tears of discovery or move you to change directions. A absolute must read book for understanding the real you.
  • A reader (MSL quote), USA   <2007-10-24 00:00>

This is the thickest self help book I ever read. 435 pages of content. However, it's a real page turner that I had finished it within three days, and learned a lot. I must praise the detailed breakdown (64 prinicples/chapters), the good pick of stories and quotes supporting each prinicple, and the excellent writing skill of the author. It's no exaggeration to describe this as the shortcut/summary/spirit of the "Chicken Soup for the Soul" series. I had read over 50 self help books. I seldom rate one five star. But this book deserves it.

  • J. Layton (MSL quote), USA   <2007-10-24 00:00>

This book lit a fire under me. I'm only halfway through it, but I'm taking a look at what I really want in my life, making bi-weekly lists of goals, and finding I'm actually meeting them. Basically, this book is helping me to mentally settle down and take a good hard look at my life and where I want to be. It's helping me see that anything is possible if I'm willing to believe and work for it. I highly recommend this book to anyone who's feeling lost right now - not sure where to go in life but not being happy where you are now.
