What can I say? It works! This book is a true marvel. My hopes with the gorgeous young lady across the street were looking minimal after an embarrassing situation and I was at a really low ebb. After listening to Paul McKenna's valuable advice I decided to 'take action' and bought myself this book of techniques. Since I have been using the various mind-programming techniques outlined here, she has lifted the restraining order (along with her skirt) and she's begging me to divorce or murder my wife! If you're looking for success with the ladies, look no further!

This is the best book a guy could get if he has trouble speaking to anyone. While it is directed to help teach you to e better with girls it applies to all aspects of life.
It not only gives you advice to initiate conversations but continues to building comfort and later to escalating sexual tension and desire.
Definitely a must read for anyone who yearns to have a more sociable, fulfilling life. |

This book has changed my life. There are a lot of books out there that claim to help men find ladies and girlfriends, but they pale in comparison to Mystery's book. This book is not only relevant to todays man ....it ACTUALLY works. Not one day after reading a small portion of the book I had women basically thriving for my attention at my workplace. This book gave me my confidence back, every boy should be given this book when becoming a man. |

I must admit I am eating crow after reading this book. I was one of the biggest critics of the pua society until just this week when I read a great article defending it. I wish I could link to the article but Amazon won't let you in reviews. Basically it explains that pua's aren't a bunch of jerks trying to nail everything they see; they are simply a bunch of guys trying to get skills with the fairer sex. Their vocabulary they've created to discuss women with each other makes them susceptible to criticism from outsiders who don't truly understand the definitions. That was me. For instance, I thought "plausible denial" meant giving yourself an out like if the girl wound up pregnant or in case she catches you in a lie or something. Now I know it means giving her an excuse to have sex. (You have to read the book to understand; trust me, all these definitions are not bad, even though they sound like they are.)
There are some great tips in this book for developing skills with women (i.e. game.) Also read The Game for other tips. God is a Woman - Dating Disasters shows what happens after you get game and how to take that game and change your personality, so you no longer need game at all. I do think that the pua society wants guys to stay stuck in game, using lines and sarging (again, read book) forever because they want you to pay for courses forever. That's a rip. You use the techniques by Mystery and Neil Strauss to get where Ian Coburn is. (No openers for him - he doesn't need them anymore and now uses what he calls the 'common-denominator'; again, read the books!) I hated all three guys until I read Ian's article (the one I mentioned; you can find it just by searching his name or God is a Woman - Dating Disasters. It also has a terrific opener he used to use he calls "2 to 9", well worth checking out); now, I am in debt to all of them! Great stuff. |

I've never seen his show, but as a single male/amateure psych student, I was very impressed with this book.
The blurb "how to get beautiful women in bed" is somewhat misleading - while many of Mystery's techniques could be misused, he asserts that it's not about "scoring one-night stands" or "becoming a cookie-cutter pickup artist." His emphasis is on learning to initiate a RELATIONSHIP with the woman of your choice, and while this may always be a competitive game among us males, he largely avoids resorting to duplicity.
Mystery spells out in clear terms what women gauge a man's "value" by, including health, financial independence, confidence, persona, and social skill; and offers his own advice on how to SUBSTANTIALLY improve yourself in these areas. He does NOT offer a "quick fix."
He goes on to explain the dynamics of social interaction; how to read a woman's otherwise mysterious cues; what the specific phases of courtship are, and how to handle each of them WITHOUT CUTTING CORNERS; and how to circumvent the learned defensiveness of women who have become innured to an excess of attention. If some take offense at his ideas, bear in mind that Mystery emphasizes practicality over sentimentality.
The fact is that men - including otherwise decent guys who suffer from social anxiety - are not born into the world knowing these things.
I think that overrall, this book will do more good than harm. |
