I am 11 years old, a young adolescence boy, My mother bought me Chicken Soup For The Teenage Soul for CHristmas. I immediately put my other presents away and started reading. It was sad, heart warming, and happy at certain times. I realized how special I really am. It was amazing how other people around and over my age felt. Also very nice to see how girls feel and want in a man. Also, how no matter how hard times get, suicide is never the answer. There was two stories in particular I loved Sparky (in the section "On Learning")you will never believe the ending. Another on of my favorites is about suicide and how everybody deserves a friend it is Always Return Your Phone Calls (in the section "Tough Stuff"). It is sad, beatiful, and very inspirational. I suggest this book to every kid my age this book is so good I am going to read it over and over again. Thank-you.

When I first heard about Chicken Soup For The Teenage Soul, I was not in a hurry to purchase or even read it. Later though, my freind bought it and I read a story he told me too. Wow! That one page of what he went through totally changed my perspective on life. I went home and bought the book that night. When I began to read it I relized what I had read was just the beginning of a renewal on the way that I treat and look at my life. Day after day I read a few stories at a time. There were stories that caused my to laugh, cry, smile, frown, get scared, think, and love. If there were more stars beside just 5, I would give them to this book. I feel like this book has renewed so many things in my life that I believe i am a different person. I also have learned many lessons about family, life, freinds, and many many other things. I would recomend this book to anyone that needs a little hope, inspiration, renewal, or just a nice read. Thank yo for your time and if you read Chicken Soup for the Teenage soul I hope that you enjoy, wait, I know that you will enjoy every story in there. Thank You!

Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul is a outstanding book! The book is about real life stories; stories about real life, love, friends, family, and tough stuff. This book really touched my heart. There is a story in the book called "I'll Be Looking for You Ace". It is about a girl anf her brother is in a car accident. When he is in the hospital she wrote a letter sayiny "I wish could have been the one in the accident." So if you want to know if he dies or not, then read Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul! I highlt recommend this bookto teh age group 12-18. This book is an outstanding book!

I got this book because one day in 7th grade, a girl started to read a poem during a nosiy classroom, everybody, includes the teacher, stopped what they were doing and glues their ears to her words! The poem was so powerful and meanful that it left us all speechless! Right when, I got home I ordered the book. Ever since I got it, it has always been there for me. Whenever I had a problem, I could just open it and fell better. The stories really made you think about what if that was you or I can't believe that is true. I would read and get done with a story and make everyone in the room read it because of how it made me feel. This book is very powerful and I think every teenager should get it!

This book was a gift from my mother when I was younger going through my rough times in life. At first I thought that it was a stupid gift and and didn't read it. But one day sitting around board I thought I should take a look after that there was no way to get me to put it down. What really attracted me to it was the very first part was about love, and me being in a new relationship I profited a lot from it. Besides this book teaching us about love it also talks about life and our growing world. It shows us that life isn't always perfect. No matter what you've just been through either a death or a broken relationship, someone has already been there and they got through it and so will you in time. If there was any book I would recomend this would be one of them.

My aunt gave me this book a few Christmases ago, when I'd just entered adoelesence. I appreciated the gift even more as the years passed, when I learned how difficult it really is to be a teen and the stories began to truly resonate with me. Among my many favorites were "The Secret of Happiness", "Sparky", "I'll be Looking for You, Ace", "The Boy Who Talked With Dolphins", and "Dead at 17". My generation is lucky to have this series to guide us through our adoelesence. It makes you laugh as well as teaching lessons. I reccomend this book to almost any teen.

Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul is truly a book that warms the heart. It teaches you about morals, death, and miracles, along with touching stories that will make you laugh, and cry. I have three Chicken Soup for the Soul books, and I can proudly say that I never get tired of reading them. I would recommend this book to anyone.

I bought this book because all my friends were talking about how wonderful it was and I read one of the stories and decided to buy it myself. I was not disappointed I almost read the whole book in one day. It is the best book I have ever read and I recommend it to anyone. After I read it, it inspired me to change my life a little bit and be a better person that I wouldnt be embarrassed to be. I must say that my favorite story is "The Bible" its a very sad story but it teaches you not to take your loved one for granted and not to except to much because they love you and thats all that they owe you. |

I recently bought and read the book Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul. I thought the book was the best. As a matter of fact, I read the book within three days. It has true stories and wonderful poems. I usually do not read young adult books. But, all my friends were coming to school reading this book, saying how they cried through most of it. After I purchased the book, I saw what they meant. The hardest chapter for me was "Tough Stuff." I read that chapter one late night and I sat on my bed, and while crying, I was thanking God for the wonderful things that he has done for me and my family. I also saw in the many other chapters, what many teenagers think and how they feel. I am a teenager, but I have a wonderful mother and a decidated father that would do anything to protect our family. I see how these people feel, but I never knew being a friend could save someone's life. That was one of the many tragic stories in the book. I would easily recommend Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul to anyone. I know this is the book, that I will keep forever...

This book made me laugh and cry. I enjoyed it to the fullest extent possible. It means a lot to me, and says so much about the difficult stage of teenage life. I think on my next trip to the bookstore I'll pick up another book in the series! It was just that good. Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul is a book I will always refer to and cherish. A precious keepsake to treasure forever. This is a definite recommendation to all my friends. This book has helped me through a difficult time in my life, the death of my Mom. Reading the chapter "Tough Stuff" helped me to deal with this and realize I wasn't alone. This is definitely a book you can relate too! I love to read books, especially fantasy - but these real life stories topped them all! I can't wait until " A Second Helping" comes out, I hope to be the first to buy it! The experience of Chicken Soup for the Teenage Soul will stay with me all my life
