Kossoff, a consultant whose firm specializes in executive development, presents her thesis on executive thinking, which she defines as "the human and organizational manifestation of the executive's dreams, goals, and vision." To her, "dreams" are detailed, exquisite, tangible pictures of what the organization can, should, and will be, and "vision for the corporation" is an active concept, real and tangible, strategically based and task supported. Successful executives ensure that others see and understand the dreams and vision and lead the organization to transforming them into reality. The dreams must be shared, and everyone must become involved as an active participant. Kossoff's concept of dreams includes knowledge, experience, and observation of other organizations to determine which organizations the executive admires or does not admire and why. We learn that executives need to develop "dreaming" skills in order to make them a habit of their leadership. Teaching executive thinking to corporate management is the author's business, and this book can serve as an infomercial for her services.

Leslie Kossoff has made an important contribution to the discussion on corporate leadership. The new economic era is based on a systems understanding of the organization, and it is in this contect that her book addresses the essential issues of conviction, commitment and collaboration. The author makes concrete what could otherwise be seen as "soft" issues concerning trust, alignment and corporate culture. The essence of leadership is in inspiring others to align their visions and aims with those of the organization. It takes a special kind of person to enable that to happen. Executive Thinking is a very helpful and enlightening work in this regard. |

Leslie Kossoff shares with us in clear, easy to follow words, the secret of successful executives. It is like being invited inside the heads of our corporate leaders both today and from yesteryear. The principles in this book are tried and true, yet nobody discusses the thinking process of success. There are no management fads or latest buzz words in here - This is the guide of how to turn dreams into reality. Today's business world is changing at light speed. To succeed in these topsy turvy times, now more than ever we have to understand the thinking proces. Ms. Kossoff has done this for us. No other management book comes close. This is THE book for today's and tomorrow's leaders. |

Dream, Vision, Mission: Achieved - Begin to think like an executive with dreams. Organizations exist based on and because of dreams. Dreams of success. Dreams of product or service differentiation. Dreams of creating an enterprise the likes of which have never been known before. In Executive Thinking, the Executive Thinker, rising through the ranks, leads an executive team with ambassadors, working ambassadors and associates, ultimately leaving an executive legacy. A good read. |

Leslie Kossoff has created a comprehensive guide for executives to achieve success far beyond their expectations. Executive Thinking not only applies to business, it applies to everyday life. We all have dreams, but to convey those dreams to others as vividly as we see them is a real challenge. Self perseverance becomes the dictum. Executive Thinking regenerates one's self assurance that here is a healthly business operations style for executives to ensure success far beyond financial profit. |
