From Publisher
An insightful collection of essays and think-pieces, reflecting on the business of travel and life. Author Peter Alatsas is an international hotelier and a keen observer of life in all its weird and wonderful permutations, his inspirations are as diverse as a cutlery-stabbing incident over seating on a Sydney flight and the architecture of Budapest. Through it all, he thinks, reflects and encourages his readers to adopt the right attitude , all tools for success in the modern world.

In the final analysis, most practitioners would agree that management/leadership is mainly about change, setting direction, influencing people and achieving desired results. Though there are no mystical formulas, practice and experience are in every equation.

Good stories and characters told with lots of humor and plenty of life lessions to ponder. |

I love the way it is written in a simple way, yet, strung together in an elegant fashion, and the philosophy is quite profound.

Reading this book, I first had two cups of strong coffee expecting to fall into deep thinking of the philosophy of life. Then I realized that my thoughts were lightened up and enlightened by many little episodes: sentimental, sensual, profound and funny. My vision was blurred by the tears that welled up in my eyes when I read the beautiful words used when describing those beautiful people at those beautiful places which triggered those beautiful thoughts. I liked the story of Bohlool and the way the author embraced him as the source of delight of any sunny day. |
