The Chicken Soup series of books have certainly left an indelible mark on society and Chicken Soup For The Couple's Soul is no exception. There is a lot to like about all of these books. Usually presented in 2-3 page vignettes that make for easy reading and a variety of plots reach varied interests.
This particular volume tells of adventures of finding the love of a life. There are chapters here on finding each other, intimacy, commitment and much more. This is a treasure couples should enjoy together.

This book is an inspiring read and one I repeatedly found myself sharing with my husband. The stories are heartwarming and are about real people, real enough to teach some relationship lessons that we found attainable in our everyday communication. The stories are especially good for reminding couples where they started in their own relationships and why they came to see so much in their soulmates. I'm going to use this one as a Valentines gift and for wedding gifts. |

I'm a huge fan of the chicken soup series, and this book did not disappoint me.
For a married woman who was in a bit of a rut, it reminded me of just what it means to be in love with someone.
Almost all the stories touched my heart and I even had the courage to share some of them with my husband. It's nice to sit down and read about couples who have had ups and downs and have still managed to survive it all. If you are 1/2 of a couple then I would suggest this book in a heartbeat.

Okay, maybe I have not yet finished the book. But it is so good that there is no doubt in my mind that the rest will be also. I have learned so much from this book regarding true love and all the other mushy stuff. A lot of the stories bring streams of tears pouring down my cheeks. This was a wonderful Valentine's gift and would make an excellent Birthday gift too. A must have for anyone who has ever been in love or hopes to be in love soon. Believe me, you will never put it down.

The Chicken Soup books really move me. At first I held back saying these kinds of books were not for me. Then, with prodding from a friend, I purchased my first "Soup" book. Now I have eight. Another good book you may want to consider in this hyer-fast computer/Internet connected world is "Life and Death on the Internet" by Keith A. Schroeder. Wow! What an eye opener.
