Welcome to the first edition of China Hotel Directory (CHD), the most comprehensive, accurate and up-to-date guide all China hotels in the market.
As newest member of China Economic Review's publications line up, China Hotel Directory has been Compiled from the ground up. Every piece of imformation has been newly complied, checked and re-checked. We hope you find it useful. We chose the hotel sector for the first directory because of the rapid growth in the travel sector, and the strong demand for better imformation.
The travel industry in China is booming because of increase in the numbers of both business visitors and tourists. Travelers are also increasingly moving beyond the well-trodden path through Shanghai and Beijing, and visiting other cities throughtout China.
China has quickly become one of the world's venues for trade exhibitions, and is now one if the main choices for international conventions. The rise in tourism and MICE activity supports the development of China's hotel industry. All the world's top 10 hotel groups are now in the China market. Probably hundreds of new hotels are in planning or discussion. This market has huge potential, and China Hotel Directory is with you to Keep up with the changes.
