The most excellent book in its genre. Not for the stubborn minded who already have the modern women sterotyped into "gold diggers" or "x". There are many many girls who do not place $ or looks or "x" above everything.
Not for the muggers who follow techniques to the letters without understanding the logic behind the technology. Obviously, you will not impress EVERY girl with a "hand puppet"...duh..
Not for people who feel that adopting a new behavior is "being someone else". This can be a matter of genuine change.
Not for people who insist on academic papers with proper grammar or spellings. Neither is it for people who need illustrations to finish the book.
For people who can read an entertaining book that is to the point. Great advice (weirdly the more moral ones are found in the later half of the book) for people seeking more success with women.

First off, i think that anyone who rates this book 1-3 stars simply hasn't read the book or has read it and hasn't learnt from it and incorperated what is being said into their own lifestyles. The simple fact with just about any book is that 80% of the content you desire is in 20% of the text. You glance over this book...or just read it casually without noting, processing and analysing what is being said, then dismiss it. I feel sorry for all of you, your pesimism makes you fail before you even start reading the book. I think your main problem is that you are looking for some sort of magic bullet, you expect to read the book and then somehow on some sort of unconscious level you start using what is being taught. WRONG IDEA FELLAS! Has anyone actually tried going up to several women and just saying "hi" to them? anyone tried keeping and maintaining eye contact? Now i'm currently going out with my great 19 year old girlfriend and having sex with an equally great 22 year old hair model (i met her when Jo and i were dating - and she knew i was dating a few girls at the time). She does some shampoo commercials in our country as well as a few other commercials. My girlfriend does know i'm having sex with this other girl and doesn't mind (because me and my girl only get to see each other on the weekends and she knows i'm a horny guy who needs sex) she doesn't have sex with anyone else cos she's a "nice girl" she knows i love her and that the sex with sarah (the hair model) is just that, sex and nothing else.
I wouldn't have gotten over my break up with my ex and met anyone new if it wasn't for this book, getting me started. It was hard at first but trial and error, learning from my mistakes and here i am, feeling better than ever.
I am currently unemployed, living with my parents (though i spend alot of time at either my girlfriends of sarahs house),and studying to be a relationship counsellor. I personally think that money or looks have NOTHING to do with succeeding with women. For some it might help but i think women are more interested in someone who can make them feel the way they want to feel.
If you are a little shy, trying to bounce back from a relationship or just interested in getting that part of your life called "understanding women" to a good start then this is a GREAT book.
It's a great primer and for some might be the one and only text you need.

This may be the best book ever written... on any topic! It takes a topic that is a mystery for many men (and most psychologists) -- the art of meeting women -- and gives a clear, step-by-step approach that can't help but improve the odds for most guys. This book is better than most of the relationship books from well-known authors that are on the bookstore shelves! There isn't any one key to success... It's all in the details, and this book is chock full of them; nearly 500 pages of details, tips, and examples. The authors have really done their homework. The book has one controversial aspect, and I'd like to take a stab at explaining it. Some have criticized the book as being a book for "players", because the authors recommend dating several women at the same time. Well, when you are trying to meet women and create a relationship, that probably isn't a bad idea (and the authors have some very good logic about why it is a very good idea). Once you develop a solid relationship, that part becomes unimportant, replaced by your new partner. I think the issue is just that simple.
Just as Mars and Venus was a breakthrough in relationship books, this book is a breakthrough in CREATING relationships. The authors are tremendous humanitarians to share their knowledge with the rest of us.
In case it isn't obvious, I loved the book!

Until I read this book I was making every blunder and stupid mistake in the world. I have gone the past two years without a date. I live in LA and have a good job. My friends have always told me I am attractive. I workout and am fit, but still no dates until NOW.
I realized after reading this book how I was letting my fear of women get the best of me. And I finally learned how to approach and talk to women.
I have been looking for tools and techniques to boost my confidence with women and I finally found it. This book has been like a bible to me. Something I refer to often and use time and time again.
Hey it's not as if this is rocket science, nor that this book covers EVERYTHING in the world on dating. But these guys really do lay a foundation that is useful and applicable. If it worked for me it will probably work for you too.
I have been shy too damn long and was ready to take charge of my life. And now I know I can do it.
This book has been really, really inspiring and useful.

This book is the finest work of its kind I have ever read. It is rich in deep understanding of women, what they truly want and how they see men. It has exercises to help men get a better sense of what women are about and how to offer themselves to women in a way that works. It is well written, easy to read and sincere. The Dr. Badalamenti book by this title is a waste. It says nothing but piles up pages of what seems to be fiction for it certainly gives no understanding. It reducers the reader's desire for sex as something shameful and bad, and makes every reader into some mama's boy. I doubt that the stupid and over pyschological ploys in that waste of paper would work and since I am interested in women as persons and not just as organs. I vastly recommend this book over Dr. Badalamenti's tome. |
